Job summary

Holt Engineering is seeking a Material Handler to join an established aerospace company in Southend. You will move, load and unload materials across warehouse and storage areas, using appropriate handling equipment. The role runs 8:00–16:00, Monday to Friday, with a focus on safe, efficient material flow.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, moving materials to storage and production locations, and operating handling equipment as trained. A strong safety focus and teamwork are essential.

Holt Engineering is currently working with an established aerospace company that is looking for a Material Handler to join their team in Southend.

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, loading and unloading materials throughout the warehouse and storage facility, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently. You will support the smooth running of operations by moving materials to and from storage areas, vehicles and production locations using appropriate handling equipment.

This a full time role working 8:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday

Requirements for the Material Handler:

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience is Essential.
• Familiarity with material handling equipment and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and established processes accurately.
• A reliable, organised approach with good attention to detail.
• A strong commitment to health and safety.
• A willingness to work under supervision and as part of a team
