Overview

Nelson Recruitment Services are recruiting for a Material Handler to work with our client in the West Bromwich area. Our client are a leading manufacturer of electrical products for commercial, industrial, data centre, telecommunications, and solar applications.

Responsibilities

• As a material handler you will be responsible for ensuring all operatives have a consistent flow of materials for production using a Bendi FLT
• Operate material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts
• Offload, identify and safely store raw material in coil and flat sheet form
• Take responsibility for inspection goods for quality and quantity
• Enter traceability data into manual and/or electronic records
• Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Performs Other Duties as Assigned

Pay

£14.95ph

Hours

Rotating Shift 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00

Ideal Candidate / Qualifications

• The ideal candidate must have previously worked in a factory setting for a minimum of 12 months
• A valid Bendi FLT Licence
• Ideally worked in a similar position
