Job summary

NRL is seeking a Material Expeditor for an on-site contract role in Woking, working with an oil and gas project team. You will track, verify and expedite materials and equipment to keep the project on schedule.

The ideal candidate has proven material expediting experience, strong English, and proven ability to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams while maintaining accurate documentation and records.

  • Track and monitor the status of materials and equipment required for the project.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Verify material specifications against purchase orders and project requirements.
  • Manage documentation for shipments, deliveries, and any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update tracking systems as required.
  • Escalate potential delays or issues to relevant stakeholders and propose solutions.
  • Support procurement teams with follow-up to ensure contractual commitments are met.

Summary

We’re looking for a Material Expeditor to join an oil and gas project team on a contract basis, based on-site at our Woking branch. This role suits someone with strong organisational skills and experience in expediting materials for large engineering projects. You’ll play an essential role in ensuring timely delivery and accurate tracking of all components critical to project success.

Contract - In Scope of IR35

Responsibilities
  • Track and monitor the status of materials and equipment required for the project.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
