Job Details

Company Overview

Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognized as second to none. With a strong order book and growth into various export markets, they are looking for a Material Controller to join their supply chain team.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Ensuring materials are available to meet customer demand, production planning, project requirements, and new product introduction.
  • Adapting work processes to ever-changing situations.
  • Managing material and inventory requirements across production demand, liaising with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Liaising with internal departments to develop and implement business changes and stocking strategies.
  • Supporting suppliers in developing departmental targets.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Relevant degree qualification with substantial experience in materials management and supply chain development.
  • Experience in materials and inventory management strategies, with the ability to develop and improve processes aiming for operational excellence.
  • Working towards or interested in obtaining a CIPS qualification.
