Qualifications

  • Maintain accurate records of sourcing, allocation, and usage.
  • Expedite purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
  • Support cost control by sourcing from stock, brown stock, and transfers.
  • Communicate risks and shortages to project teams in a timely manner.

This role is based at our Netherley facility near Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire, a key operational site supporting our global customer base.

Your Role

As a Material Controller, you’ll be the central link between procurement, stores, operations, and project teams — ensuring that all materials and components are available on time to meet customer commitments and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain replacement parts lists from inspection to assembly.
  • Coordinate material allocation across departments for turbine repair and overhaul projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of sourcing, allocation, and usage.
  • Expedite purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
  • Support cost control by sourcing from stock, brown stock, and transfers.
  • Communicate risks and shortages to project teams in a timely manner.
What You’ll Bring
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in supply chain, engineering, or business administration.
  • 3+ years’ experience in supply chain or project coordination, ideally in an engineering or service-based environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with commercial awareness.
