This operation work at pace and speed, thinking on your feet and leading a small team navigating deadlines means every shift goes in the blink of eye. You need to be agile, accurate and a good leader. What does good mean? Leading, building respect and being a clear communicator on every shift so everyone knows what is happening, what the deadlines are and what the required actions are.

These are great roles for those who want to progress – the right people above you in a senior team can make all the difference. The comradery in the factory and the way they operate makes this an upbeat place to work. Is this the role you will look back on and say ‘if I hadn’t taken that job, I wouldn’t be where I am today?’.

  • As above, good supervisory skills in FMCG environments.
  • Hands-on in approach – you can communicate well and develop teams.
  • You are confident around technology – if you worked with RFI scanners great, not essential.
  • When the heat is on, you stay cool and calm and know how to get the job done.
