About The Role

Position: Matchday Response Security Officer - Sheffield United F.C.

Hourly Rate: £13.10 - £14.68 * (*hourly rate inclusive of holiday pay)

Schedule: Match fixtures

We are looking for Response Officers who champion our values to join our matchday teams Keeping People Safe at Bramall Lane.

An SIA Door Supervision licence is essential for this role.

Duties Include:

  • Carrying out pre and post event safety checks.
  • Searching customers on entry to venues.
  • Monitoring access points and site perimeter patrolling.
  • Ingress and egress management.
  • Crowd management - foot traffic direction, maintaining order, ensuring crowd safety plans are adhered to.
  • Conflict management.
  • Deliver approachable customer service and support to guests.
  • Report any anti-social and suspicious behaviour.
  • Directing customers around the site.
  • Dealing with customer ejections from site and physical intervention.

Requirements:

  • SIA Door Supervision Licence.
  • L2 or L3 Spectator Safety Certificate or willingness to achieve this qualification (training will be provided by FGH Training free of charge).

  • Smart appearance with impeccable personal presentation.
  • Ability to confidently de-escalate and resolve difficult conflict situations.
  • Keen eye for detail and the ability to stay vigilant to security risks.
  • Comfortable working in busy spaces.

If successful, you will be subjected to security screening in accordance to BS7858:2019.
