LFC Foundation in Liverpool is seeking a casual Catering Assistant to support match-day and event catering operations. You will assist with basic food preparation, unload deliveries, clean surfaces, and help keep the kitchen hygienic and organized.

This flexible role offers evenings and weekends on a variable basis, providing an opportunity to work with a dynamic team serving the club’s community programs.

Qualifications

• Experienced in working in a fast-paced kitchen or similar environment.
• Knowledgeable or aware of manual handling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation.
• Unload and store deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness by emptying bins, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly.
• Carry out deep cleaning of fridges and storage areas to meet hygiene standards.
• Support with washing up, ensuring all items are cleaned and ready for service.
• Keep back-of-house areas clear and organised, including end-of-day cleaning and waste removal.
