Job summary

Crystal Palace Football Club is seeking a grill/hot-food chef to join the matchday team at Selhurst Park. You will prepare and cook a range of hot items, ensure quality, and help with stock and cleanliness throughout the service.

On typical matchdays (Saturdays with some evenings and Sundays), you will work around an 8-hour shift, engaging with fans and upholding high food-safety standards while contributing to a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 2 certificate and strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
• Experience grilling or cooking food in mass quantities, particularly in a busy environment
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Understand all menus, product offerings, packaging and pricing
• Prepare and cook hot foods such as burgers, pies, hot dogs and nachos for match days
• Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality with regular checks
• Ensure products are prepared and distributed according to cook-off numbers
• Restock and keep the prep area clean at the end of shift
• Maintain kitchen equipment cleanliness and safe operation after shifts
• Follow Food Safety Management System and Health & Safety policies
• Support other duties as required by the team and management
