Job summary

MSS Group in Cardiff is recruiting match day cleaners to support Cardiff Rugby Club. This zero-hours role involves four-hour shifts on match days, focusing on spectator areas, washrooms and hospitality spaces to keep facilities clean, safe and presentable during events.

You will join a dedicated cleaning team, report to a supervisor, and carry out duties before, during and after matches. Essential qualities include reliability, teamwork, attention to detail and health and safety awareness; COSHH

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience or willingness to undertake cleaning duties.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Health and safety awareness and basic manual handling.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and match days.
• Desirable COSHH knowledge for site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Report to supervisor at start of shift for task allocation.
• Clean designated match day facilities including spectator areas and washrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness before gates, during event and post-event as required.
• Empty bins, litter pick and manage waste per site procedures.
• Sweep, vacuum and damp mop floors and walkways as instructed.
• Replenish washroom consumables and assist with spill response.
• Maintain cleanliness in hospitality, media and spectator zones.
• Use cleaning equipment safely per company procedures.
• Collaborate with wider teams to deliver a first-class service.
• Complete any additional duties as reasonably requested.
