Qualifications

• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent required.

• Advisable to obtain an active MOT Smart Card.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs to a variety of vehicles.
• Assist other vehicle technicians in the workshop.
• MOT testing and diagnostic testing.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Master Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a Car Dealer Group, located in Bristol.

Duties:

- Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- Assisting other Vehicle Technicians amongst the Workshop – especially apprentices.
- MOT Testing
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards
- Supervising the Workshop when the Workshop Controller is absent.

Requirements:

- A Fully Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
- Advisable to obtain an active MOT Smart Card or have experience with PSA Vehicles.
- Dedicated and committed approach.

The salary of this Master Vehicle Technician role is up to £39,000 basic.

Working hours are 42 per week; Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with 1-in-2 Saturday mornings 8:30am-12:30pm.
