Qualifications

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Master Vehicle Technician to join our MG Dealership in Solihull. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, as well as working Saturdays on a rota basis.

Our Master Technician will play an integral role within our service team by consistently providing first-class diagnostics and repairs, taking the very best care of our customers' vehicles from start to finish.

Our well-equipped and modern facilities provide a professional environment for our staff whilst delivering seamless service to our customers. We also offer outstanding development opportunities, with ongoing training provided to help you reach your full potential. You will coach, mentor, and provide diagnostic and technical assistance to other technicians to speed fault diagnosis and accurately specify repair solutions.

As a Master Vehicle Technician, you will act as our specialist in repairs, detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair, ensuring all work is completed safely and to the customer's complete satisfaction. Your role will include assisting the Service Manager, accurately and skillfully undertaking repairs and servicing of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, industry guidelines, and is completed to the highest standards.

About you

  • Highly trained Master or Diagnostic Technician with extensive industry experience
  • We welcome applications from experienced Vehicle Technicians trained to diagnostic or master technician levels, within a franchised dealer environment. Knowledge of the MG brand is a plus but not essential.
  • You may be a Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, MOT Tester, HGV Technician, or Auto Technician seeking progression.
  • Whether you work at an independent garage, fast-fit centre, car supermarket, or main dealer, we are interested in speaking with you.
  • At minimum, you will hold or be working towards completion of your NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Full UK Driving licence
