Job summary

JCT600 in Leeds is seeking a skilled Master Vehicle Technician to join the SEAT / CUPRA team. You will perform servicing, diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards, ensuring quality and timely delivery. You will prepare diagnostic reports and communicate repairs clearly to the Workshop Manager.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance with proven Master Technician experience and VAG familiarity, plus a UK driving licence. A customer‑first attitude is essential.

• Must have Level 3 IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• Proven experience as a Master Vehicle Technician.
• Experience with Volkswagen Group (VAG) vehicles is essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication to explain technical issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate repairs, servicing, and diagnostics on motor vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Ensure all work is delivered to the highest quality, within agreed timescales, and in line with brand and industry guidelines.
• Provide clear diagnostic reports and communicate with the Workshop Manager on required repairs.

Master Vehicle Technician - SEAT / CUPRA Leeds

Salary: £42,400 OTE

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Master Vehicle Technician to join our SEAT / CUPRA team in Leeds, West Yorshire. In this role you’ll be working on delivering high quality servicing, diagnostics, and repair work to exacting standards. You’ll play a key role in making sure every vehicle leaves the workshop performing at its best.

As a Master Vehicle Technician your day-to-day will include

• Carry out accurate repairs, servicing, and diagnostics on motor vehicles to manufacturer standards, completing all required documentation.
• Ensure all work is delivered to the highest quality, within agreed timescales, and in line with brand and industry guidelines.
• Provide clear diagnostic reports and communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager on required repairs.
• Assess vehicle condition, document additional work as needed, and liaise with other departments to ensure efficient servicing and repairs.

What we’re looking for in a Master Vehicle Technician:

• Level 3 IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance
• Proven experience as a Master Vehicle Technician
• Previous experience working with Volkswagen Group (VAG) vehicles is essential
• Full UK driving licence (free from excessive penalties)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication to explain technical issues clearly
• Customer-first attitude
