Job description

Master Technician - VW Commercial

Join our VW Commercial dealership in West Yorkshire as a Master Technician. You will be responsible for ensuring all service, repair, and maintenance work is completed to high standards across a diverse range of models.

1. Accurately and skillfully undertake repairs and servicing of motor vehicles, ensuring all work meets required standards and administrative processes are completed.
2. Ensure all repair work is completed to the highest standard within factory timescales.
3. Provide accurate diagnostic reports, explaining what repairs are needed and why, to the Workshop Manager/Team Leader.
4. Evaluate vehicle conditions, reporting and documenting additional work required on systems and job cards.
5. Liaise with other departments to facilitate timely and accurate servicing and repairs.
6. Ensure all work is completed safely, complying with Company, Brand, and industry guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as an accredited/qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, Level 3 IMI light vehicle maintenance, or City and Guilds equivalent.
• Brand accreditation is beneficial but not essential; brand training will be provided. Candidates from all brand backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
