Overview

Role: Master Technician

Location: Port Talbot

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5:30pm | Alternating Saturdays, 8am – 1pm

Salary: Up to £43,225

RSD Recruitment are working on behalf of a leading automotive client to recruit a Master Technician to join a busy, fast-paced workshop environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician to take their skills to the next level — delivering complex diagnostic and specialist repair work, whilst ensuring the highest quality standards and safety compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carrying out in-depth VSI inspections and complex repairs across a wide range of vehicle makes and models
• Diagnosing faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Completing all repair documentation accurately in line with legal and company standards
• Working to DVSA and manufacturer compliance
• Collaborating with the in-house parts team to produce job lists and authorisations
• Supporting a safe and well-organised workshop environment
• Ensuring all road-tested vehicles are covered under trade plates and meet road-legal standards
