Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler – Manufacturing Senior Specialist to lead master production scheduling for the Oilfield Equipment business. The role coordinates material flow and ensures plans are executed efficiently from office-based locations in the UK.

The candidate will drive S&OP, manage production slot plans for manufactured and bought items, and own the plan with strong cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, planning and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject required.
• Demonstrable experience in materials planning within an electro‑mechanical environment.
• Willing to take ownership, drive improvements and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Lead master planning, material processes and systems and update production schedules.
• Drive S&OP process including workload and capacity analysis.
• Manage production slot plans and dates for manufactured and bought‑out items.
• Own the plan and ensure executability through handover to execution.
• Redefine processes regularly with engineering, planning and maintenance.
• Oversee manufacturing technique choices and ensure technical know‑how.

Master Scheduler – Manufacturing Senior Specialist (Material Plan & Execution)

We need an experienced Master Scheduler to lead master production scheduling activities for our Oilfield Equipment business, coordinating and expediting the flow of materials and ensuring production plans are executed efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Managing master planning, material processes and systems, preparing and updating production schedules and purchasing needs, optimizing inventory and process improvements.
• Driving the S&OP process including workload and capacity analysis.
• Managing production slot plans and dates for both manufactured components and bought‑out finish items.
• Driving ownership of the plan and ensuring executability until handover to execution.
• Redefining processes and procedures regularly, requiring frequent interaction with adjacent functions (e.g., engineering, planning, maintenance).
• Managing manufacturing technique choices, ensuring technical know‑how.

Qualifications

• Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant subject.
• Possess demonstrable experience in materials planning within an electro‑mechanical environment.
• Be willing to take ownership of processes, innovate where possible, and lead by example.
