Job description

My client, one of the world's leading manufacturers of climate control solutions, is looking for an experienced Master Scheduler/Production Planner to join their small Supply Chain team.

The Master Scheduler will ensure the effective delivery and planning of materials in coordination with requirements of the business. Control of inventory to maximize best price conditions and manage the purchase order placement on supply chain and suppliers based on lead times and forecasts - 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review MRP recommendations to produce purchase orders, works orders, and schedules in a timely manner.
  2. Review and set target stock levels using sales and forecast data.
  3. Planning and scheduling deliveries/Production to achieve targeted stock levels, and ensure high levels of customer service.
  4. Ensure the accuracy of order completion/delivery dates.
  5. Maintain and manage supplier account/relationships.
  6. Effective communication with Customer Services and Production.
  7. Monitor and measure delivery performance by supplier.
  8. Assist users and produce purchase orders for non-stock items.
  9. Assist the MPS Manager with any other duties that may be required.

Please note this is a full-time on-site position, based on the outskirts of Cardiff.
