MASTER PRODUCTION SCHEDULER

SHIPLEY

PERMANENT

SALARY 50k

Our client, a large engineering business based near Shipley, have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed master production scheduler to join their growing team.

As the Master Production Scheduler you will take ownership of the planning process, development, data gathering, analysis, review and scenario planning.

You will be responsible for all the forecasting and managing the whole MPS process, the master production scheduler duties will be, but not limited to

• Develop effective forecast models and drive forecast accuracy improvements.
• Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
• Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
• Maps demand vs operator, machine/tool, space, and supplier capacity and initiates corrective action, as necessary.
• Supports the financial forecasting process.
• Report Plan Adherence, Inventory Metrics, Purchasing Metrics and Customer Delivery Performance
• Regularly reviews and maintains planning parameters.
• Duties around SAP Implementation within Supply chain

As the master production scheduler you will have a background within a manufacturing and production environment.

You will have experience in statistics, forecasting and operational impacts, in planning, resource allocation and leadership.

You will of course have the usual, interpersonal skills, communication, team player at all levels.
