Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Bridgwater, UK, seeks a skilled Production Planner to create short-term production schedules and manage the customer order book to ensure on-time delivery.

You will balance demand with capacity, provide delivery commitments, and coordinate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Production, and Quality teams. A strong ERP background (SAP/Fourth Shift) and Excel proficiency are essential. UK work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling or similar operational environment.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering surroundings.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Outlook/Word) and ERP systems such as SAP or Fourth Shift.
• Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Able to balance a dynamic order book with production capacity.

Your responsibilities

• Create and manage short-term production schedules in line with planning rules and business priorities

Your Skills & Competencies

• GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, order management, customer service, or a similar operational environment
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Fourth Shift
• Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage a dynamic order book while balancing customer demand and production capacity
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and stakeholders
• Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changing business demands
• Proactive, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently, take ownership, and make informed decisions within established processes
