Role: Master Production Scheduler | Location: Birmingham (South) | Salary: Highly Competitive | Hours: Days (4.5 working day week)

Overview

Are you a planning powerhouse with a passion for precision and a strategic mindset? We are working with a global leader in aerospace and advanced manufacturing who are looking for a Master Production Scheduler to join their dynamic team in the South of Birmingham.

In this pivotal role, you'll ensure production plans align with customer demand, operational capability, and inventory optimisation. You'll drive the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, collaborate across departments, and help deliver excellence—on time, every time.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead the development and execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
  • Manage SIOP, capacity planning, and long-term business forecasting
  • Collaborate with purchasing, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure smooth material flow
  • Plan operational off-loads and subcontractor schedules
  • Use EFACS ERP to maintain accurate planning parameters
  • Drive KPI reporting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), scrap reviews, and load balancing
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in senior planning within manufacturing
  • Advanced MRP knowledge and strong Excel/ERP skills (EFACS a bonus!)
  • Proven ability to influence, lead, and communicate across functions
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and project management capability
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001 and aerospace compliance expectations
