Job summary
Talent Finder in Ashford, Kent, is seeking a Diagnostic Technician or Master Technician to join the on-site team. This full-time role focuses on diagnosing vehicle faults, interpreting diagnostic data, and carrying out work with modern diagnostic tools and manufacturer guidelines.
Experience with German vehicles is essential. The role offers a base salary of £42,000 with OTE £54,000 and hours 8:30 am–5:30 pm, with every other Saturday, plus potential career progression to Leader or Site Manager.
Qualifications
- German vehicle experience and strong diagnostic abilities.
- Experience diagnosing vehicle faults and interpreting diagnostic data.
- Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and manufacturer guidelines.
- NVQ or City & Guilds in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle faults and interpret diagnostic data.
- Use modern diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines when carrying out diagnostic work.
- Support vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- Keep up to date with new diagnostic technologies and techniques.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
