Job summary

Pro-Pak Foods, a major supplier of ready meals to UK supermarkets, is seeking a Master Data Support to join our master data team at the Malton site. You will maintain group master data in the ERP system (Sage X3, SFDC) and ensure data accuracy across the business.

Ideal candidates are graduates in business economics or mathematics with strong Excel and SQL skills, who communicate well with stakeholders and can work independently on site, Monday to Friday, 08:00–15:00.

Qualifications

• Graduate in business economics or mathematics preferred.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, PivotTable) and SQL experience.
• Able to communicate with a range of stakeholders and work independently on site.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation and maintenance of the ERP system (Sage X3, SFDC).
• Review production standards and processes.
• Analyze and report variances against standards.
• Drive cost savings and continuous improvement projects.
• Generate and maintain KPI and performance reports.
• Map and implement new standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data accuracy.
• Develop and maintain procedures and work instructions.

CPC Foods’ master data team is expanding, and we are now searching for a Master Data Support to join our team at Pro-Pak Foods. In this role you will be helping maintain group master data resource to ensure accurate master data in the ERP system (Sage X3, SFDC). You will be supporting one of our sites located in North Yorkshire. This role is office based in Malton.

Who are we searching for?

Ideally you will be a business economics or mathematics graduate, be logical and have great business acumen. We’re looking for a strong and confident communicator who will be comfortable liaising daily with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will also be an intermediate/advanced level user of MS Excel (formulas such as VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH and PivotTable) and SQL.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Support the ongoing operation and maintenance of EPR system (Sage X3, SFDC)
• Reviewing and understanding production standards and processes.
• Analyse and report variances against standards
• Continuously look to improve business performance through cost saving / business improvement projects
• Generate and maintain KPI and performance reports
• Mapping and implementing new standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of master data
• Develop and maintain systems procedures and work instructions.

Skills And Experience Required

• A Level or equivalent
• The ability to work independently without management present on site
• Has strong communication skills and can build effective relationships with the site team.
• Is confident enough to challenge existing ways of working when necessary and explain the benefits of adopting CPC standards.
• Experience working with ERP systems and master data management (preferably sage X3)
• Excellent analytical, organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Advances Excel skills, including report building, data analysis and formula creation.
• Exceptional attention to detail is vital
• A proven approach to continuous improvement.
