Job summary

HSB Technical Ltd is recruiting three Masters for Crew Transfer Vessels operating from UK ports to support offshore wind farm operations. The role is permanent with a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation, requiring strong leadership and navigation skills under COLREGS and SMS.

Compensation includes Master 200GT rate with probationary pay, progression after probation, and offshore allowances where applicable, with duty-specific safety and maintenance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• UK MCA Master 200GT certificate or higher.
• Valid STCW certification.
• Strong leadership and navigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Take full command and responsibility for safe vessel operation.
• Transport technicians and equipment to offshore wind farms.
• Lead and mentor onboard crew.
• Ensure compliance with COLREGS, MCA SMS and statutory requirements.
• Oversee maintenance planning and toolbox talks.
• Liaise with coordinators and offshore control centres.
