Job Title: Massage Therapist (Medical)

Location: US Army Europe

Start Date: 1st October 2025

Job Type: Full Time

Overview: Healthcare professionals are needed to provide medical services supporting Military Treatment Facilities and Health Clinics within The S Army Medical Command, Regional Health Command Europe, and other DoD agencies including US Navy and US Air Forces in Europe.

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Massage Therapist
• National Certification from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork
• High school diploma or equivalent, with additional training or education in medical massage therapy
• At least 1 year of clinical experience within the last 3 years
• Certification in Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association or Red Cross

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Consulting with clients about medical histories and stress or pain issues
• Participating in telemedicine sessions and interdisciplinary case presentations
• Assessing soft tissue condition, joint quality, muscle strength, and range of motion
• Developing and executing treatment plans involving medical massage
• Providing massages to treat medical conditions, injuries, or wellness needs, including postural kinesiology, neuromuscular, myofascial, and ortho massage techniques
• Performing active isolated stretch techniques and suboccipital release techniques
• Conducting in-services and demonstrating techniques to other therapists

This position is eligible for support under NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) articles 72 or 73.
