A leading analytical chemistry company in Brixham is seeking an Analytical Chemist to design and apply methods for complex studies. You will utilize cutting-edge mass spec technologies and collaborate on all aspects of method planning. You will be responsible for designing, optimizing and applying analytical methods for ecotoxicological, e-fate, physchem and residue studies; detecting, quantifying and characterizing small molecular species in complex matrices. You will have access to the latest mass spec technologies including QQQs and QTOFs. In collaboration with colleagues, you will be responsible for every part of the analytical method plan, from sample preparation to final report. In addition to your day-to-day laboratory work you will also be expected to research the latest technologies and practices with a view to implementing these in the workplace and evolving the company's working practices and services.
Interviews will be conducted in a 2-stage process: virtual and onsite.
