Job summary

Peterborough First Group is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our MASH team in Peterborough. You will triage new referrals, assess information and collaborate with partner agencies to determine the right intervention and support for children.

Joining a supportive and established team, you will apply professional judgement and maintain a child-centered focus while balancing pace and accuracy in decision making.

Qualifications

• You will be a qualified Social Worker with a current Social Work England registration.
• You have strong leadership skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
• You are able to work confidently with internal and external partners.
• You are experienced while still being willing to learn new things and maintain your own continuing professional development.
• You have an in depth knowledge of the legal and policy frameworks and guidance that inform and mandate social work practice in Children's Services.

Responsibilities

• Triage new referrals for children and assess information.
