A leading financial services firm is seeking a Martech Product Owner to define and deliver their Marketing Technology roadmap. The role involves maximizing technology for customer engagement while ensuring compliance and risk management. Ideal candidates will have experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Agile methodologies, and strong stakeholder management skills. Remote working available from London or Northampton.
Join us as a Martech Product Owner at Barclays where you will primarily be responsible for defining and delivering our Marketing Technology roadmap. You will maximise this technology to fully optimise and automate customer engagement across the business lifecycle whilst driving commercial value whilst increasing customer engagement and retention.Your experience in project management, execution, data collection, strategic thinking, business understanding, time and workload management will be invaluable in this role.
To be successful as a Martech Product Owner you should have:
Experience working with Salesforce Marketing cloud and using it to enable complex, multichannel, marketing journeys.
Practical experience of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban Lean).
Familiarity with digital marketing practices, process, and trends relevant to financial institutions like Barclays.
Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Proficient in planning and managing project timelines & resource, working with stakeholders, delivery & execution teams.
Familiarity working with APIs and integrating with legacy tools.
Demonstrated experience across the full software development life cycle, from discovery to continuous improvement.
Experience gathering, analysing and prioritising business requirements.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex martech concepts to a wide range of stakeholders of differing technical ability.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience with CDP, CRM tools.
Experience working with analytics tools, and using data visualisation and reports for insights.
Understanding of tools relevant to salesforce marketing cloud.
Previous technology transformation experience.
Previous Financial Services experience.
Agile certification.
Effective cross functional collaboration.

This role will be based in London or Northampton.
Purpose of the role
To manage and develop existing and new products and/or services; and where applicable, ownership of related customer and colleague journeys, develops the product strategy, drive change through Barclays execution teams, make key decisions in the product lifecycle and own associated outcomes for customers, colleagues and the bank, achieved through appropriate service level agreements, regulatory compliance, risk management and controls.
