Job summary

IG Group is seeking a technically hands-on MarTech Lead (Data & AI) to own the data & marketing tech stack. You will drive a SFMC to Braze migration end-to-end, validate data parity, and fix issues directly while shaping a single source of truth across 40+ tools.

Strong SQL, BigQuery, and Python skills are essential to automate QA and data checks. You will work in a hybrid London setting, collaborating with Data Architecture and client tech teams to ensure data integrity and scalable AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data validation skills with experience in BigQuery or equivalent warehouses.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting data checks and automation.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM tools to speed up MarTech workflows.
• Experience owning a platform migration or major data integration project.
• Ability to translate business objectives into structured technical plans and documentation.
• Clear communication across cross-functional teams with varied technical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Own the SFMC → Braze migration: plan, sequence, cutover and data validation.
• Validate data and journey parity between SFMC and Braze at the SQL/pipeline level.
• Identify and fix migration-related data issues; avoid ticket-based handoffs.
• Define technical architecture for a single source of truth; design schema and identity stitching.
• Manage integrations with 3rd-party tools and align with data contracts and governance.
• Build monitoring/validation to ensure trusted data and flag drift early.
• Diagnose data quality issues directly and write SQL/Python QA scripts.
