Qualifications

• At least three years experience working as a reporter with a major news organization or finance background.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, business and economics.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of SEO and snappy headlines.

Responsibilities

• Navigate, comprehend and explain earnings reports, financial updates and write market commentary.
• Understand corporate balance sheets and develop original angles.
• Explain in simple language why it matters to investors.
• Use audience data to inform which stories matter.
• Generate quick angles and meet urgent deadlines multiple times a day.
