Role Overview

The Marketplaces Channels Manager will oversee JD Outdoor's external marketplace channels, including Amazon, B&Q, Secret Sales, eBay, and others. This role involves managing the marketplace catalogues, ensuring smooth operations, and driving sales through channel optimization. The position offers the opportunity to influence revenue at an enterprise level and manage a team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the external marketplace proposition, including order flow, Prime metrics, revenue, and paid advertising strategies.
  2. Lead and develop a team comprising an Executive and a Junior Developer, overseeing platform connections and product uploads.
  3. Implement and manage paid advertising campaigns, particularly on Amazon using the Amazon Ad Console.
  4. Collaborate with platform partners to drive revenue and growth across the catalogue.
  5. Explore and present new marketplace opportunities, managing their integration into our operations.
  6. Organize and oversee operations for major sales events like Prime Day.
  7. Prepare performance reports and analyses for the wider business.
  8. Develop strategies for product launches and promotional trading events.
  9. Maintain seller health metrics to ensure compliance with marketplace SLAs.
Requirements
  • Experience with marketplace management, including order flow and advertising strategies.
  • Proficiency with Helium 10 and listing products via flat files/offer files.
  • Strong Excel skills; basic knowledge of APIs is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate at scale with extensive SKUs and brands.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
