As the Marketplace Compliance Manager, you’ll focus on ASOS’ payments-related relationships and processes (e.g., with acquirers and payments service providers (PSPs)). You’ll develop and maintain ASOS’ compliance strategy and policies to meet acquirer and PSP requirements, comply with legislation/regulations, and ensure these are implemented across relevant functions to maintain contractual and regulatory compliance. Working with the Compliance Manager, you will drive the implementation of compliance controls, oversee training, process scalability, and metric reporting.
The core responsibilities of the Marketplace Compliance Manager include:
- Managing contractual compliance with PSPs and acquirers.
- Ensuring compliance with Marketplace rules, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
- Managing relationships with the co-branded credit card provider.
- Supporting marketplace governance and compliance best practices.
- Promoting Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.
What You’ll Be Doing
Marketplace Compliance Monitoring
- Ensure activities comply with contractual, legislative, and regulatory requirements related to the marketplace.
- Identify vulnerabilities and implement measures to mitigate financial crime risks.
Third Party Liaison
- Review contracts with PSPs, acquirers, and Capital One to ensure compliance obligations are met.
- Build and monitor the Marketplace Compliance Framework, addressing non-compliance areas.
- Handle audits and inquiries from third-party marketplace partners.
Risk Management and Governance
- Create and manage the Marketplace Financial Crime Risk Management Framework (MFCRM).
- Maintain FCC Policies, Processes, and Procedures.
- Define risk acceptance criteria and design risk assessment models.
- Establish and apply the Customer Risk Appetite Statement (RAS).
- Support KYBP processes, conduct reviews, and maintain PEP registers.
- Develop and deliver compliance training.
Maintain and Manage the Marketplace Compliance Risk Register
- Log, review, and update risks and issues, ensuring mitigation plans are in place.
- Track risks to closure with proper documentation for audit purposes.
3 Lines of Defence
- Enhance the second line of defence by monitoring relevant areas.
- Support the first line in developing monitoring and control documentation.
Coordinate monitoring activities across ASOS entities.
Qualifications
