Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join the Low Carbon Crude Oil Sales Group.

The group handles oil market analysis, intelligence, data analytics, strategic studies, market research, project management, and coordination within the crude oil sales and marketing department.

Your main role is to oversee marketing activities, lead research initiatives, and optimize performance to support the company's marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in crude oil placement strategy and market analysis.
  • Participate in developing strategies addressing short- and long-term needs, complex issues, and challenges.
  • Mentor, train, and develop team members on crude oil market concepts.
  • Conduct complex studies within your expertise area impacting current and future operations.
  • Monitor market trends to forecast viability and evolution; coordinate special studies and advise executive management.
  • Prepare and present analyses, conclusions, and recommendations on petroleum market issues.
  • Offer expert advice on planning and analysis to senior personnel and management.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders on low carbon initiatives and analytical results presentation.
  • Support commercialization of low carbon crude and products like LCAF, SAF, Naphtha, focusing on offsetting and market mechanisms.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Over 12 years of experience in oil & gas sustainability, ESG, and carbon markets.
  • Knowledge of carbon markets, environmental regulations, and climate policy implications.
  • Extensive understanding of crude oil market dynamics, pricing, and reporting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with refining, petrochemicals, linear programming, and financial modeling is advantageous.
  • Understanding of refining processes and economics.
