Marketing Specialist

Location: Caterham

Salary: Up to £35,000

Job Overview:

The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts within the HVAC industry. This role will assist in executing marketing strategies, developing content, managing social media platforms, and contributing to brand growth. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented individual with a passion for marketing and a strong interest in the HVAC industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote HVAC products and services across multiple channels (digital, social media, print, etc.).
  2. Content Creation: Develop engaging content for various marketing channels including blog posts, website copy, email newsletters, and social media posts.
  3. Social Media Management: Assist with managing and growing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) by creating content, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers.
  4. Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to support marketing strategies and ensure relevance in messaging.
  5. SEO & Digital Marketing: Assist with SEO optimization for website content and support digital marketing initiatives such as pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, email marketing, and online promotions.
  6. Brand Management: Support the development and execution of brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.
  7. Reporting & Analytics: Help track and analyse marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports on campaign effectiveness, audience engagement, and ROI.
  8. Event Support: Assist with the planning and execution of trade shows, webinars, and other marketing events specific to the HVAC industry.
  9. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, design, and customer service to ensure alignment and consistency in marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Experience: 0-2 years of experience in marketing or a related field; experience within the HVAC industry is a plus but not required.
  3. Skills:
    1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    2. Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, social media management tools, SEO tools, etc.).
    3. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    4. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    5. Creative mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
