Step Recruitment is seeking a motivated marketing apprentice to support SEO and social media campaigns across student, university and employer audiences. You will gain hands-on experience while developing strong administration and digital marketing skills under guidance from the management team.

You will learn to manage enquiries, prepare CVs, update content, and contribute ideas to marketing plans as you grow in the role. Training will be provided in our systems and tools.

Competenze

• Organised, curious and creative with a genuine interest in marketing and content creation.
• No prior recruitment or SEO experience required; training provided.
• Experience with Canva, social media, websites or other creative tools would be a bonus but not essential.

Mansioni

• Support the SEO and social media plan and coordinates with recruitment and projects teams.
• Assist in managing candidate and university enquiries, CVs and shortlists, and document distribution.
• Maintain applicant management system and CRM records with simple updates or reports.
• Create and schedule social media content for Step's audiences and produce engaging graphics
• Update website pages and blog content, including vacancy information
• Carry out on-page SEO tasks after training, such as keyword research and meta descriptions
• Monitor website and social media measures, record results and suggest improvements
• Support events and marketing projects as required
• Handle candidate and business information with data protection and confidentiality
• Organise workload, meet deadlines, and communicate progress
• Share ideas to contribute to marketing plans as experience grows
