The Global Sales & Services Operations (GSSO) team helps shape Gartner’s mission‑critical sales and services priorities and works with leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, you will be at the forefront of an ongoing transformation that supports a sales and services organization of nearly 9,000 associates and delivers approximately $4.9B in annual revenue.
About this role
This role is part of the Global Marketing team in GSSO. The team focuses on driving topline revenue and increasing seller productivity. The Experiential Marketing team creates programs that convert prospects into clients through experiences that demonstrate Gartner’s value proposition.
What you’ll do
- Act as regional lead for program strategy and execution of core Experiential Marketing prospect engagement programs – virtual and in‑person – that showcase Gartner’s value to highly qualified prospects.
- Work closely with regional Sales Operations and Sales leadership to enable the Sales organization to maximize success with Experiential Marketing programs.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the Salesforce organization within selected regions (e.g., Europe).
- Ensure that requests for participation meet qualification criteria and set clear expectations with stakeholders.
- Adapt program strategy to regional needs, lead sales training, develop communications, and support best‑practice execution.
- Collaborate with other regional experiential marketing leads to ensure consistent execution and share best practices globally.
- Partner with Integrated and Digital Marketing teams to create a seamless experience in pre‑event marketing campaigns, onsite communications (when in‑person), and post‑event communications.
- Execute programs for a portfolio of events throughout the year, managing them according to playbooks provided by global leads.
- Measure program success, reporting, analysis, and interpretation of trends, and continuously innovate to improve the prospect experience.
- Coordinate stakeholder needs and ensure consistency and optimum utilization of Gartner resources (analysts, budget, locations, etc.).
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across Sales, Research & Advisory, Service Delivery, Conferences, and others to accomplish goals.
- Limited travel required (10‑15%).
What you’ll need
- 5‑8 years of business, project management, and/or marketing experience.
- Proven business acumen and a track record of meeting targets and objectives.
- Experience partnering with, coaching, supporting, and enabling Sales organizations.
- Experience executing multiple highly complex and/or strategic programs and activities.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and design appropriate solutions.
- Strong communication skills, including tailoring communication to different audiences.
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills, working with multiple levels.
