THE GIG

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join Dr.Martens as a Marketing & PR Coordinator to support the PR, Partnerships & Energy Marketing Manager (UK&EMEA) and the UK marketing team in executing high-impact marketing, PR, and partnership initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior-level professional with some PR or marketing experience and a strong interest in culture, fashion, and brand storytelling. The role will require a foundational understanding of PR, strong communication skills, and an ability to manage key administrative and logistical functions to support brand campaigns.

Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:

PR & Media Support

  • Support in briefing and overseeing the UK PR agency, ensuring alignment with Dr.Martens global brand objectives and strategy.
  • Develop and maintain talent and influencer relationships.
  • Monitor media coverage for internal reporting.
  • Support the execution of press and talent gifting, seeding initiatives, and influencer outreach.
  • Coordinate media send-outs, both direct and via PR agency, ensuring accurate tracking and follow-ups.
  • Assist in organising and hosting events, launches, and activations.

Partnerships & Cultural Engagement

  • Assist in researching and identifying potential brand partners and cultural collaborators.
  • Support the execution of brand partnerships, ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Coordinate partnership activations, including event logistics, product placement, and brand alignment.
  • Track partnership performance and compile reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Support with affiliates and influencers across our digital channels.

Sample & Product Ordering Management

  • Manage and track sample inventory for press, influencer, and brand use.
  • Oversee the organisation and distribution of samples and seeding.
  • Support in making seasonal orders of samples and seeding.
  • Liaise with internal teams to facilitate product orders for PR and marketing needs.

Marketing & Content Support

  • Provide occasional support for retail-focused activations, assisting in execution and coordination.
  • Support the UK Marketing Manager with key initiatives, ensuring alignment across Dr. Martens' marketing and PR efforts.
  • Assist in coordinating content shoots, ensuring alignment with brand campaigns.
  • Support the marketing team with the creation of reports and presentations.
  • Contribute to social media content planning and engagement strategies.
  • Help maintain marketing calendars and key campaign timelines.

  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A keen eye for cultural relevance, emerging trends, and brand storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an understanding of social media platforms.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude, with a passion for brand-building and creative marketing.
