About the role:
We’re looking for a Marketing Planning Manager to join us on a fixed term contract here at
Confused.com, working as a key part of the Confused.com marketing team. As Marketing Planning manager, you'll be responsible for driving projects and developments forward in Confused.com. In this role you’ll be working closely with a wide range of stakeholders across all areas of marketing and the wider business and implementing cross functional paths where appropriate.
You’ll also be overseeing and strategically influencing the delivery of a varied mix of projects and developments, by organising and co-ordinating resources, engaging stakeholders, managing timelines and relationships to ensure on-time delivery.
Projects and developments will range from strategically important and high-value initiatives through to smaller, time-critical marketing changes to deliver incremental improvements for the marketing team and wider business.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing budget reporting
- Managing the marketing planning process that feeds budgets and forecasts
- Managing key projects that require cross team co-ordination
- Developing and coordinating a rolling 12-month marketing plan of key initiatives which provides visibility of key campaigns and strategic developments
- Ensuring that activity is flighted in the most effective way throughout the year.
- Creating a briefing process for marketing campaigns between product and marketing teams
- Acting as Marketing lead for supporting product initiatives
- Coordinating key strategic marketing projects, liaising between multiple stakeholders and ensuring delivery within set timescales
- Owning relationships with our benchmarking agency, maximising the relationship and ensuring key insights are actioned throughout the business.
What we're looking for
Essentials:
- Experience of managing budget reporting processes within Marketing teams
- Experience of project management within Marketing team
- Excellent excel and presentation skills
- Good understanding of digital marketing channels
- A flexible and dynamic problem solver who can create solutions and manage workplace differences.
- An effective communicator who is able to positively influence stakeholders at all levels.
