Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited in Plymouth, Devon, is seeking a Marketing Planner to join the Head Office team. You will turn commercial priorities into engaging campaigns across multiple channels, coordinating with Marketing, Commercial and Operational teams to deliver customer-focused activities.

The role requires experience in marketing planning or campaign management, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns with a commercially focused approach.

Marketing Planner

Location: Plymouth, Devon
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5:30pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Are you an organised and commercially minded marketing professional with experience managing campaigns from planning through to delivery?

We are recruiting for a Marketing Planner to join the Head Office team of a well-established and growing business in Plymouth. You’ll play a key role in turning commercial priorities into engaging, customer-focused marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and coordinating marketing campaigns from start to finish
• Creating clear, customer-focused campaign briefs
• Developing integrated marketing plans across multiple channels
• Managing campaign timelines, deadlines and priorities
• Coordinating activity across Marketing, Commercial and Operational teams
• Monitoring campaign progress and resolving potential delays
• Presenting campaign plans and updates to key stakeholders
• Building strong relationships across the wider business

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in marketing planning, campaign management or integrated marketing
• A good understanding of different marketing channels
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities
• A commercially focused approach
• Confidence creating briefs and presenting marketing plans

Experience within retail, FMCG, consumer marketing or working across multiple brands would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
