Job summary

Box, a leader in Intelligent Content Management, offers a 12-month Marketing Placement Student role in London. You will work with regional marketing across DACH, Northern Europe and France, focusing on GTM campaigns, events and digital media, while applying German language skills.

You will gain end-to-end exposure to multi-channel campaigns, event planning and social advocacy for the EMEA region, preparing you for a marketing career in a fast-paced cloud SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student in Marketing, Business or related field returning to complete final year in Autumn 2029.
• Professional working proficiency in German in addition to English.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional marketing teams to understand regional challenges and translate them into campaigns.
• Assist in planning, executing and post-event follow-ups for flagship events.
• Support joint campaigns with partner marketing and lead generation activities.
• Contribute to digital media and performance campaigns with ad assets and tracking.
• Help manage EMEA social media advocacy and report impact to sales teams.
• Coordinate landing pages, email campaigns and webinars with Marketing Operations.
• Support creative brainstorming and cross-functional campaign execution.

WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

Our EMEA Marketing team fuels pipeline growth, builds brand awareness, and brings the Box story to life across European markets. As a Marketing Placement Student with German language capability, you will be an integral part of our Go-To-Market (GTM) engine, collaborating across Regional Marketing (DACH, Northern Europe, France), Partner Marketing, Digital Media, and Performance Marketing to drive high-impact marketing programs.

During this 12-month placement based at our EMEA HQ in London, you will experience first-hand how a high-growth cloud SaaS enterprise operates. You will gain end-to-end exposure across multi-channel campaigns, digital advertising, event planning, and social advocacy—helping plan and execute flagship events (like CIOWorks Europe and BoxWorks) and tailoring campaigns for the DACH and EMEA markets while building a strong foundation for your marketing career.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Collaborate with Regional Marketing Managers across DACH, Northern Europe, and France to understand sales challenges and translate them into effective regional campaigns.

Support the planning, execution, and follow-up for flagship internal and third-party events across EMEA (such as BoxWorks, CIOWorks Europe, and Content Cloud Summit).

Partner with the Partner Marketing team to coordinate joint marketing campaigns and lead generation with strategic ecosystem partners.

Assist in executing digital media and performance campaigns, including coordinating ad creative, tracking setup, and analyzing campaign performance metrics.

Manage and drive the EMEA social media advocacy program, curating content in advocacy tools and communicating impact to wider sales teams.

Coordinate landing page builds, email marketing campaigns, and webinar productions in close partnership with the Marketing Operations team.

Act as the go-to team champion for creative brainstorming, cross-functional campaign support, and administrative operational excellence.

Education: Studies in Marketing, Business or related and currently enrolled as an undergraduate student on a recognized university placement/sandwich degree course returning to complete your final year of study in Autumn 2029.

Work Authorization: Unrestricted right to work in the UK for the full duration of the 12-month placement.

Language Proficiency: Professional working proficiency in German (in addition to English).

Communication & Relationship Building: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to collaborate cross-functionally across regional and international teams.

Creativity & Problem Solving: Proactive, curious mindset with the ability to think outside the box, generate fresh ideas, and adapt to fast-paced marketing environments.

Attention to Detail & Prioritization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, meet project deadlines, and maintain quality under pressure.
