Job Description: Marketing Officer, Artificial Intelligence Collaboration Centre (AICC)

Department: Faculty of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment

Grade: Business Support Grade 7 (£38,273 per annum)

Responsible to: AICC Director

Campus: Derry~Londonderry or Belfast

Duration: Fixed-term until 31st August 2028 / Full-Time

Job Purpose:

This role entails being a full-time, dedicated Marketing Officer for the Artificial Intelligence Collaboration Centre (AICC), a partnership between Ulster University (UU) and Queen’s University Belfast (QUB). The postholder will be part of a dynamic team responsible for leading marketing activities, including creating high-quality campaigns, materials, and publications, to support a strong and clear brand positioning based on customer insights.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a partnership approach, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and will be highly engaged with the media landscape. They should be audience-centric and capable of developing and executing plans to meet challenging objectives.

Ulster University may create a 12-month waiting list for similar roles within the Department or Faculty, with the possibility of extending this across the University if needed.
