The Marketing Officer will be a creative, organised individual with a passion for connecting new audiences with contemporary music. They play a key role in driving ticket sales, growing audiences, and strengthening the London Sinfonietta’s network through engaging social media, digital content, and communications. This role would be suitable for someone with experience in marketing, ideally within the arts or culture sector or a charity, who wishes to develop their skills in a broad-based role. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a high level of efficiency and drive, with an interest in digital content production and developing new audiences. Good copywriting and proof-reading skills are essential, and some experience in design and print production, social media, and email marketing would be an advantage, as would an understanding of classical or contemporary classical music.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this fast-paced role requires strong communication, digital marketing skills, awareness of trends in the digital sphere, and excellent organisational abilities to maintain efficient processes. You should be proactive and interested in finding new ways to attract audiences to the London Sinfonietta and contemporary music.
Contract: Part-time, Permanent (3 days per week). It is anticipated that the successful candidate will attend the office at least 2 days a week. The role is also required to be present at events outside normal working hours on a weekday or occasionally a weekend.
