Job Description:

The Complete Education Solution (TCES) is a Social Enterprise providing specialist therapeutic education through our schools and specialist services for neurodiverse pupils since 1999. Despite working with some of the most complex children across the UK, we have never permanently excluded any child in 25 years. We never give up.

TCES is constantly innovating and trying to support as many children and young people across the country as we can. We are seeking a passionate, experienced marketing professional to support the nationwide growth of the National Online School, and our new Great Minds Therapy & Training Services.

Working within a small TCES-wide marketing team, the postholder will specifically lead on the growth and promotion of these two schools and services.

The National Online School is the only DfE accredited online SEND school in the country and has increased student numbers by 600% in only 18 months. It is a rapidly expanding school supporting children unable to attend ‘traditional’ bricks and mortar settings.

Great Minds Therapy & Training was launched in 2024 and covers two key services: online 1:1 therapy and delivery of our expert inclusive, therapeutic training for schools and professionals across the country.

This is a new role within the TCES marketing team specifically dedicated to the rapid growth and expansion of these three online services by reaching a UK-wide audience to generate interest and enrolments for the business development team. The successful candidate will be expected to have a broad range of skills to work on all marketing activity for the services.

Job Title: Marketing Officer (National Online School & Great Minds)

Reporting to: Marketing and Communications Manager

Location: TCES Central Services, Wimbledon (with up to 2 days working from home)

Contract: Full-time / Permanent

Job Purpose

This role will lead the marketing and communications for high-priority initiatives within the TCES Group: Great Minds Training and Therapy Services, and the National Online School. The Marketing Officer will be a dynamic generalist, adept at managing multiple marketing channels and projects simultaneously. They will play a key role in building visibility, trust, and engagement with new and existing audiences across ensuring alignment with TCES’s mission, values, and brand identity.

Working within the central Marketing team, the Marketing Officer will collaborate closely with service leads, schools, and support teams to deliver innovative and effective marketing campaigns that drive service uptake, referrals, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

·Lead on all marketing and communications activity for Great Minds Therapy & Training Services, and the National Online School.

·Support, implement, and evaluate annual marketing plans and campaign calendars.

·Identify and act on opportunities to grow audience engagement, reach and impact across all channels.

·Create high-quality, engaging content for a range of platforms and audiences.

·Manage and regularly update service web pages for SEO, accessibility and engagement.

·Plan and schedule targeted email campaigns via CRM systems to segmented audiences.

·Track and analyse digital campaign metrics to inform content optimisation and future activity.

·Monitor and maintain a digital marketing calendar across services.

·Develop and manage social media content calendars for school & services.

·Create and edit short-form videos for use on social media and websites.

·Analyse social performance and adapt strategies to maximise reach and engagement.

·Plan and support events including open days, exhibitions, webinars and conferences.

·Prepare branded collateral, promotional assets, and marketing packs.

·Attend and represent TCES at events as needed, ensuring consistent brand representation.

·Coordinate multiple projects, liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

·Work closely with Headteachers, Service Leads, Family Support Teams, the admissions and partnership teams.

·Support external PR agency and brief external designers, videographers, and printers as needed.

·Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns using digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, social insights, email performance).

·Present regular marketing updates, insights and recommendations to the wider team.

·Maintain a horizon scanning and planning document to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.

Person Specification

1.Proven marketing experience across a range of skills and areas, ideally in education, training, therapy or not-for-profit sectors.

2.Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills across a variety of formats.

3.Confident in using CMS systems, email platforms, and social media scheduling tools. (Hootsuite, Loomly, Dot Digital, Mail Chimp, Pipe Drive).

4.Experience in video editing and content creation for digital platforms. Using Platforms such as Premier Pro, Cap Cut or Canva.

5.Competent in using data and analytics to inform decisions.

6.Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.

1.Experience in supporting referral pipelines, B2B/B2C service marketing or online schools.

2.Familiarity with safeguarding and marketing in an educational context.

3.Proficient in Adobe Suite including InDesign and Premier Pro.

4.Webinar / online and offline events experience.
