Job description

A highly regarded independent school in Cambridge is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Officer to join their busy and supportive Marketing and Admissions team.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Admissions, the successful candidate will play a key role in identifying newsworthy stories and producing engaging content to promote the School's exceptional academic and co-curricular provision, including sport, music, art, and drama.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing digital content plans across a range of platforms, ensuring the School's reputation is enhanced locally, nationally, and internationally. This will include creating and managing content for digital and social media channels, with a particular focus on long and short-form video content to engage a variety of audiences.

Collaboration will be central to the role, as you will work closely with staff across the School to maximise the use of digital platforms and contribute to the School's wider strategic marketing plan. You will help engage prospective and current families, alumni, and the broader community.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong communication skills and a confident, collaborative approach
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and administrative abilities
  • High levels of numeracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to build positive working relationships at all levels
  • Experience in managing digital channels and creating engaging content (desirable)

This is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary of £28,176 and on-site parking.
