About The Job

YouTube Marketing’s mission is to know our users, and to connect them to the magic of our products and creators. We make YouTube successful by shaping people’s perceptions of YouTube and inspiring them to engage with us. We’re also responsible for all of YouTube’s marketing activities to consumers, creators, and key opinion influencers.

As a Marketing Manager on the UK YouTube Marketing team, you will combine creator marketing and responsibility marketing, aiming to support the YouTube flywheel by engaging creators and helping to ensure the company's license to operate. You will drive creator marketing campaigns and responsibility initiatives in the UK, which includes leading key creator and responsibility programs, campaigns and events including many UK cultural moments. You will manage the efficient delivery and execution of marketing campaigns and experiments, oversee performance tracking, and collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams and external agencies. Overall, in this role, you will be driving marketing outcomes and helping to form guiding principles for the launch and growth of YouTube's mission in the market, by creating impact with our partners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the go-to-market strategy for key products and features, executing innovative marketing campaigns to increase education, engagement, and product adoption by leveraging various channels.
  • Plan and execute priority creator programs and events (e.g., the Creator Collectives). Support cultural moments like The Brit Awards, Glastonbury, and the Sidemen Wembley Match.
  • Help solve complex problems by understanding detailed insights and wider implications. Identify and propose new opportunities beyond your usual scope of expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including the Government Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) team, to design programmes and execute campaigns that align with key narratives like the Creator Economy, Youth Responsibility, and AI.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, knowing the latest industry trends and utilizing your comprehensive knowledge of YouTube's core products, user insights, and brand marketing strategy to influence stakeholders and partners.
