What You'll Do

As a Marketing Manager, you will be a core member of the Tech and Digital Advantage (TDA) Practice Area Marketing team, reporting to the TDA Marketing Director.

Your role will involve assisting with the development and execution of editorial strategies and content, contributing to branding efforts, participating in the orchestration of key events, and supporting priority communications. You will help to amplify our core messages and the expertise of our leaders across various channels.

The team is seeking a motivated individual to join the team in a contract role (12-15 month term) and support a range of marketing initiatives.

Editorial and Content Support:

  • Contribute to the development of an editorial strategy that supports the business and marketing goals.
  • Help manage the content publication pipeline, collaborating with stakeholders and determining appropriate formats and channels.
  • Aid in the creation of engaging content in conjunction with editorial teams for various channels such as the web, social media, and email.
  • Assist in enhancing the bcg.com Tech and Digital presence, helping to refresh narratives and content, and track performance metrics to inform marketing campaign improvements.
  • Support the distribution of content across channels and assist in the measurement and reporting of content performance to guide continuous enhancements.

Cross-Functional Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with various marketing teams to assist in the execution of joint campaigns and initiatives.
  • Liaise with external relations, PR, global editorial, and social media teams to integrate their expertise into Tech and Digital marketing efforts.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and support the translation of these needs into effective marketing actions.

Marketing Team Integration:

  • Serve as a collaborative team player within the Marketing team, helping to integrate best practices and new ideas from various sectors of BCG.
  • Support the visibility of marketing activities within the Practice Area, assisting in the communication of initiatives to leadership.
  • Facilitate internal communications by assisting in the preparation of stakeholder newsletters.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Successful candidates will feel comfortable operating on a global team with multiple stakeholders and a variety of priorities, have strong project management skills, the aptitude to see and hold the big picture, yet also manage the details.

Comfort with ambiguity, evolving priorities and eagerness to lean in to support team/projects when needed, are also pre-requisites.

In particular, successful candidates will show the following abilities:

  • Passion for storytelling and ability to understand and articulate narratives, the so what, the calls to action, and the newsworthy elements
  • Strong commercial mindset and acumen for different aspects of go to market activities
  • Leading and managing programs with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels
  • Significant experience working with and effectively influencing senior stakeholders
  • Building a strong internal network, with trusted relationships and ability to influence
  • Managing internal communication activities and platforms
  • Managing social media efforts such as LinkedIn/Haillo for PA leadership
  • Summarizing PA marketing activities and impact for dissemination to leadership team and throughout the practice
