A prominent culinary company seeks a Marketing Manager for an exciting new opening in London. This role entails overall marketing responsibility, including strategic planning, campaign management, and collaboration with various teams. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the hospitality or food and beverage industry, leading marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

Location: London
Salary: £50,000 - £52,000 per annum depending on experience
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
The Role:
Overall responsibility for all marketing and communications within our new opening, including the bars, restaurants, public events, and day-to-day consumer messaging. The Marketing Lead is a key member of the senior site leadership team, ensuring that marketing activity is strategically aligned with both Company of Cooks and our client. The role will plan and deliver all on-site marketing activity, lead the marketing team, and collaborate closely with the client marketing team, Sales Manager, and wider SLT to drive visitation, brand awareness and revenue.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Strategic Planning and Delivery
•Lead the development and delivery of the annual marketing strategy, including 12-month communication, promotional and marketing calendars.
•Manage the mobilisation and pre-opening marketing plan, including market research, brand development, digital presence build, and pre-launch campaigns.
•Ensure all consumer-facing messaging is fully aligned with client brand standards, avoiding conflict with wider site messaging.
•Serve as the day-to-day marketing point of contact for both Company of Cooks and our client.
•Actively contribute to SLT meetings, strategic planning sessions, and site-wide leadership discussions.
Marketing Operations
•Lead and manage the on-site marketing team (Marketing Executive) ensuring clear direction, workload prioritisation, and support to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
•Plan and execute a full programme of marketing campaigns across digital, social, PR, email, influencer, events, and local community outreach.
•Manage all digital marketing activities, including the website, email marketing and organic/paid social media activity.
•Lead consumer PR efforts, including working with external agencies and influencers.
•Manage and develop content marketing strategies to engage audiences and build brand loyalty.
•Monitor industry trends, customer data, competitor activity and client brand developments to inform marketing activity.
Collaboration and Governance
•Work in partnership with the Sales Manager on private events and B2B marketing activity.
•Coordinate regularly with client marketing and comms teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
•Attend and contribute to monthly contract reviews, quarterly business reviews and annual site reviews.
•Liaise closely with site colleagues (Sales, GM, Exec Chef, Head of Drinks, Events) to ensure integrated activity.
•Build effective relationships with external partners including PR agencies, creative agencies, photographers, designers, and media outlets.
Budget Management and Reporting
•Manage and track the marketing budget, including campaign costs, content creation and agency spend.
•Monitor performance through data, analytics and reporting to measure ROI, optimise spend and inform future activity.
•Own quarterly reporting and KPIs across all marketing channels.
Brand Representation
•Serve as an ambassador for the company at relevant external industry and brand events.
•Build visibility and profile for the brand within the London hospitality scene.
Risk Management
•Proactively identify reputational, brand and financial risks within marketing activity.
•Develop plans to mitigate potential issues in partnership with SLT and relevant central teams.

Experience
•Proven leadership of a marketing team or function within a hospitality, venue, or F&B-led environment.
•Previous experience in delivering fully integrated marketing plans across multiple consumer channels.
•Experience working with agencies, partners and cross-functional teams.
•Experience working with alcohol brands or within the beer industry is beneficial.
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior marketing role.
Qualifications
•Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field preferred but not essential.
