Marketing Manager - Middle East and Africa
Canonical is looking for regional marketing specialists responsible for developing long-term marketing strategies and executing campaigns across diverse products and industries in the Middle East and Africa to support growth. This hands-on, multi-disciplinary role requires collaboration with sales, partner & alliances, product, and other marketing teams.
The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and marketing, prefers an environment emphasizing ownership, collaboration, learning, curiosity, and continuous improvement. They enjoy problem-solving, hands-on work, experimentation, measurement, and automation.
This position reports to the regional marketing team manager for EMEA and Americas.
Location: Remote in the EMEA region.
What your day will look like
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for specific industries in the Middle East and Africa.
- Set and monitor KPIs for lead generation, demand, and brand awareness campaigns.
- Create organic and paid campaigns, including messaging and visual assets for emails, social media, and ads.
- Manage webinars and offline events from planning to execution, including pre- and post-event strategies.
- Collaborate with the CRM team to engage and communicate with audiences.
- Manage regional budget planning and adjustments.
- Work closely with regional sales teams for insights and strategy implementation.
We value excellent communication skills and ease working with engineers, product managers, sales, and executives.
What we are looking for in you
- Experience in B2B marketing for enterprise IT, SaaS experience preferred.
- Experience with Middle East and Africa markets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or STEM.
- Hands-on mindset with testing and scaling marketing strategies.
- Growth mindset, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
