They're seeking a driven and strategic Marketing Manager to lead their go-to-market efforts promoting their SME software solution to the legal profession. In this role, you'll own the development and execution of targeted marketing strategies tailored to small to mid-sized law firms, building relevance, deepening customer engagement, and driving growth.

Reporting directly to the CEO and working in close partnership with the Group Head of Marketing and the wider marketing support team, this role plays a central part in driving business growth and brand visibility.

You will act as a key liaison between the business and external stakeholders, including media outlets, event organisers, and third-party providers to support demand generation and brand awareness initiatives aimed at meeting sales targets.

  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing activity that communicates both global and local messaging, ensuring all
    initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with brand objectives.
  • Explore and implement new routes to market and continuously improve marketing communications and campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage online advertising campaigns with a strong focus on ROI and performance.
  • Lead the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns targeting both clients and new business opportunities.
  • Promote the brand via social media, ensuring content is timely, engaging, and on-message.
  • Coordinate and deliver roadshows, webinars, and physical/virtual events.
  • Ensure visibility and engagement at relevant industry events, representing the brand consistently and professionally.

Client communications

  • Plan and deliver all client-facing communications including newsletters, webinar promotions, and Community announcements.
  • Monitor, track, and report on all marketing activity, drawing insights to support ongoing improvement.
  • Recruit and line manage a marketing executive, providing direction and support to ensure successful delivery of shared marketing goals.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns, with measurable impact.
  • Proficient knowledge of Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and Pardot (or similar marketing automation tools).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing direct reports or team members.
  • Strong experience in managing marketing budgets effectively and efficiently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and persuasive messaging.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a comparable end-to-end marketing role, involving strategy, execution, and reporting.
  • Experience managing and collaborating with a range of stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels.
  • A genuine interest in technology, IT, or software products and services.
  • Previous experience in legal marketing or working with law firms.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, Salesforce is preferred, but experience with any CRM is considered an asset.
  • Exposure to brand management principles and brand guardianship practices.
  • Relevant marketing qualifications (e.g., CIM, degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field).
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, especially Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
