Job description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join this dynamic and growing company in Fleet, Hampshire. Please note that this is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work part-time hours and from home. Successful applicants must possess a valid UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, the successful candidate will join a small, fun team, with line management responsibility for the Marketing Executive.

About the role

As a Marketing Manager, you will take a lead role in determining and implementing the marketing strategy to generate leads and meet our business objectives. The role can be full or part-time (20 to 37.5 hours per week), ideally over five days. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across all channels, including web, social media, events, traditional marketing, campaigns, website development, PPC, public relations, and competitor analysis.
  • Creating ROI models for marketing investments and producing quarterly ROI reports based on standard metrics and goals.
  • Managing marketing campaigns from ideation to execution, monitoring performance, and optimizing results through data analysis.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, agencies, and partners.
  • Monitoring and managing the marketing budget quarterly and annually, allocating funds effectively.
  • Managing marketing contracts, sourcing external suppliers, negotiating terms, and overseeing performance.
  • Managing the Sage Marketing Development Fund, evaluating criteria, aligning utilization with strategic goals, and reviewing spend with Sage.
About the salary & rewards

The role offers a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum depending on experience, plus:

  • Minimum of 20 hours or a full-time 37.5-hour week, with flexibility for the right candidate

  • Proven marketing experience in a B2B environment, ideally in software services or related fields
  • Experience executing marketing plans that deliver growth and ROI
  • Strong digital marketing skills and broader marketing expertise
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM software, and third-party platforms
  • Strong online marketing and social media skills, with relevant analytics tools experience
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Experience managing and developing teams (advantageous)
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail
  • Data-driven decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
