Job Title: Marketing Manager, Gaming

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most iconic and successful race teams in the world, Atlassian Williams Racing.

The Marketing Manager, Gaming will deliver industry-leading marketing support to enable performance at the highest level, while ensuring the company’s values and behaviours are applied consistently across all team activity. Reporting to the Director of Esports, this role will play an integral part in developing the future of the gaming and esports business to enhance the Williams brand and reputation.

This role will lead day-to-day marketing across the full scope of the team’s activity, while also being the key point of contact and collaboration for each of the marketing functions within the wider Williams team. Focus areas include content, social & media, fan engagement, partnerships, events, and merchandise & licensing.

The role will split time between our offices in central London (Tottenham Court Rd) and Grove, Oxfordshire.

Main Duties:

  1. Manage and supervise all gaming-related marketing projects and campaigns from start to finish, ensuring alignment and effective cross-team collaboration, working to achieve shared brand, fan engagement, and revenue objectives, and lead reporting and evaluation to inform future strategy.
  2. Engage the Williams Marketing team on all gaming-related promotional activities, including briefing and collaboration with Content, Social, Fan Engagement, Events, Communications, and Creative teams, as well as managing esports personnel requirements.
  3. Manage marketing relations with team partners, including planning and delivering collaborative campaigns, analytics, and reporting in collaboration with the Partnerships and Esports teams.
  4. Coordinate with the Merchandise & Licensing team to leverage opportunities for gaming and esports products and retail to support marketing strategies.
  5. Foster a professional, supportive, and collaborative team culture aligned with Williams’ brand and values.
  6. Ensure communication and implementation of processes, policies, and behaviours throughout all team functions.
  7. Liaise with third-party agencies and suppliers, building strong relationships and managing outputs.
  8. Attend events as needed to represent the team and manage on-site delivery of campaigns.
  9. Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent and correct representation of the Williams brand across all outputs.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in marketing within sports or entertainment, either in-house or agency.
  • Exposure to partnerships, events, and content is preferred.
  • Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Business, Events, or Communications are advantageous.
